SEND ME NUDES
This project started during the 2020 pandemic. Sofia requested nude pictures over Instagram, which she drew and posted on her account. She was interested in the intimacy and trust in times of isolation. The result was lots of drawings and paintings that left the private sphere to go public. Even though there’s exhibition and exposition, all the participants are protected by the drawing and can stay anonymous, if they wish. Sofia believes this work happens in cooperation between model and artist: both have something to give and to decide about the final result.
